Pros

There are no pro’s, not a single one. This job is a complete joke, I would laugh if I did not have to work here for the time being.

Cons

Either our GM is firing people due to his overinflated, yet bruised ego. Or they are being bullied out by management. Oh yes, clear is a place that the management is so immature, that they take anything you say against them as a slight instead of a genuine critique. It is actually quite sad to watch. I have seen problem solving skills displayed better from a fast food restaurant staff then I have at the almighty Clear. Let’s talk about the managers shall we. The first one is actually not that bad. I think all of us can agree that sometimes she is a bit pushy, and can become overwhelmed with stress at times, but for the most part she does the job she is suppose to do. Now the second manager... Let’s call him Waldo, as in, “Where’s Waldo”, it is a running joke among the staff that he is hardly on the floor and no where to be found. If he does choose to go on the floor he will not be there for to long. This man has legit left the building without so much as a heads up. It’s quite deplorable believe it or not. No one can respect a manager that they never see. He also messes everyone schedule up, like he has one job, and cannot even do that right. He has no problem scheduling us doubles without so much of asking. Very inconsiderate, and is contributing to more than a few employees scouting for other options. Now on to our beloved GM.... I would love to scan over his credentials, because I really would love to know why this man was chosen as a GM. Him being a GM makes me question the overall credence of the company as a whole. If his lack of of organization did not raise a red flag what about his lack of professionalism, and disrespectful manner in which he speaks down on his staff. He is overall a very bitter disgusting man who many have considered to be not only misogynistic, but racially insensitive as well. This man has made more then a few alarming comments, one in which he compared a former coworkers child to a animal. Also our HR is a complete joke which is why no one can no longer trust her because she is way to close with our GM. She is bias and tells him everything, CLE HR needs to be fired, the way she handles her job is completely unacceptable. I feel bad for the few people a CLE who genuinely love their job because I honestly do not see this location lasting to long with all the unnecessary terminations, and people quitting due to management forcing their hand. It is deplorable to watch. One more thing, this is a sales job first and foremost. The multiple security breaches CLE has experienced under a year should be indicative of that. Management only cares about security when a breach happens, and that is only because that is when their bottom line is on the line. I am actually surprised there has not been a firing in regards to upper management due to the many breaches we have had. Again that speaks to the credence of the company.

Pros

CLEAR offered remote work, schedule flexibility, and good benefits. The workload was manageable at times, and some leaders were supportive and helpful when available.

Cons

The role often felt fast-paced, high-pressure, corporate, and metrics-heavy. Policies were somewhat clear but not always, and expectations were not always realistic. There were training gaps, frequent policy changes, limited growth opportunities, and not always enough time or support to do the job well. Speed often seemed to matter more than quality. Communication and organization were also challenges. Knowledge documents were difficult to locate, even with keywords that should have produced clear results, which made it harder to assist members efficiently and accurately. Some feedback from management also felt discouraging because mistakes were not always approached as coaching opportunities.
