Executive, Operations and Business leaders are extremely aggressive about meeting end-of-year deliveries, creating a lot of pressure and dissatisfaction among employees. It's no coincidence that HR recently organized meetings to discuss workplace harassment—this is clearly a response to the growing discontent. Work-life balance is also a major issue. Overtime is practically mandatory, and employees feel forced to comply. Workers are constantly pulled out of vacation to work OT. Despite having highly qualified staff, promotions seem out of reach, particularly for older workers. Age discrimination should not be tolerated. No matter how qualified and experienced you are, if you don’t fit a certain “profile” or “clique” you won’t get promoted. Instead of streamlining processes, the company seems to be moving backwards. Newly implemented processes are often broken, leading to wasted time and increased frustration. The company's sole focus is to prioritize high-revenue products. You begin to question who the true customer is: the actual client or corporate. Lastly, your superiors will throw you under the bus to divert blame from themselves.
