Pros
* Present to CFOs at young age (even if you do not believe what you are saying)
Cons
- Management/Decision making dominated by selfish, commission-driven legacy employees - Company under stress of PE investment and not hitting targets, leading to recent firings of many competent employees - If you do not drink the company "Kool-Aid," you are ostracized. The culture is largely based on a "tell me what I want to hear" not a "tell me what I need to hear approach. - There is no proper way to fail leading to employees that lie, blame others, or take credit for co-workers work. - Lofty client expectations due to over-promising and inaccurate assumptions CMSPI is good at what they do, which is auditing. This is not a consultancy, no matter how much they want to pretend to be or demand that their employees find a way to make it one. I would recommend reaching out to former CMSPI employees (a large group known as "The Leavers") for their opinion on working there before accepting employment.
