Pros

Paychecks appear on time. Team Building Exercises, but they are interactive and "hands on" and hand washing is not frequent here.

Cons

Reading assignments on agile methodology and C# in your own time. Never heard of homework assignments at previous jobs. Would rather have the company pay for classes during working hours since after work my priority is my family. Other department managers can skip whatever they want to and show up to meetings when they feel like they should start. No holiday parties or christmas bonus. Lunch room and bathrooms and building in general is dingy. Even outside area has condemned feel. No training here, just start doing. Visiting a customer to learn is a rarity and requires a long day of driving in the middle of the night and returning 15 hours later. A lot of strong personalities leave need for on hand advil.

Pros

small environment if you like to read we read in spare time which is mandatory vending machines not located downtown so parking is great couple of good people

Cons

about 99% of offices with windows are lacking digital era capabilities and running around to help other departments making up their own work for themselves. one has an impressive vocabulary though but that's about all. hmmm yeah listing bug tracking software as a pro is awfully strange since the majority of companies have these. also don't let this fool you as if it's not used properly by all departments it's kind of useless. if you get to be one of the souls that get to travel there are no travel work perks whatsoever spending hours meeting to discuss a book means work when you can to get your stuff done inconsiderate people leave garbage in lunch room on tables and don't clean up after selves and they aren't required to so maybe this is a pro meetings are argumentative rarely productive this is the heads down work kind of environment, any time someone is discussing at a desk it's usually about religion and politics or plenty of other non work appropriate topics
