Pros
There are some really nice people working here that deserve to be employed at a respectable company. The base salary is OK, but still well below market.
Cons
This company struggles financially. Benefits and bonus are a joke for the market / area. They rely on a board that is absent and careless. Incompetence has been promoted to the top by traversing the echo chambers of a former CEO. Company culture is a toxic cesspool of chameleons who will say or do anything to survive. Workload is INSANE, and yet somehow your work will still go unnoticed. This company claims to be agile/scrum, but I've had a hard time expounding on what it actually is. It feels like a daily standup, with shaming(not retro) meetings when something goes wrong. Zero communication. There is also no opportunity for career advancement through competence. I could go on, but this should be enough to dissuade anyone seriously contemplating working here, and I can assure you management doesn't care.
