Pros

The employees of Prodigy are highly-motivated, kind, and fun people to be around and work with. While most days this is a welcome reprieve from a day-to-day corporate job; there are times where focus needs to take priority and that often becomes a struggle for those same individuals. Prodigy offers you the ability to learn about cross-functional teams and software, which is highly appealing for those who want to know how something comes to be from start to finish. Prodigy is committed to keeping high-performing employees engaged. If you are willing to make your desires known, are able to clearly communicate your frustrations, and most importantly are able to take constructive criticism as objective notations on how to perform (rather than personal slights against your character or work ethic); you will find continual support and success.

Cons

There is a steep learning curve to become moderately proficient at your job (roughly 8 -12 months). Any individual interested should be conscientious about that fact; if you are someone who finds fulfillment and resolve in being able to be considered a "master" of your job, please take this note into consideration. Some implementations (whether those be for external clientele or internal staff) are poorly optimized and can lead to short timelines to fix large issues. There is a general lack of organized documentation (or documentation in general) for all departments, as well as those applicable to the client base (how-to guides). For anyone who prefers to serve as a middle-man, someone who simply looks up how to perform or investigate an item only to serve as the translator, will have a difficult time. Many answers can only be found by those who are willing to poke around, situationally test items, and can rely on contextual clues to help inform them of an answer.
