Pros
Having worked across Bay Area companies including both FAANG and early stage startups, I have seen examples of strong and weak culture and management. Cadence stands out as a place where high performers can truly do the best work of their careers and receive meaningful responsibility in return. Leadership consistently goes straight to the people closest to the problem rather than adding layers between decision makers and the work, which creates an especially rewarding environment for high performers. The mission is deeply meaningful with clear examples of improving and saving lives. The company’s trajectory is now on track to impact more than one million patients, yet there remains room for individuals to influence how that scale is reached. In my opinion, it's the ideal time to join for that reason.
Cons
Remote work culture is not for everyone. Requires high autonomy and self initiative. The regular offsites + gatherings are very thoughtfully planned - and yet remains that if wanting to be in office every day, Cadence is less likely a fit.
