      - Small, often family like atmosphere - Looks internally before hiring from outside - Smart, adaptable engineering team

      Cons

      - A decent amount of turnover - Very sales focused -- sales representatives are like kings (and can do no wrong) and everyone else essentially acts as support for them. - Appears to lack the growth goals and potential it once did years ago. - Skimps on raises to most employees, but expects the same employees to take on more and more duties as time goes on.

      Pros

      Was able to move up quickly. Pay increases were given regularly. Can learn a lot about infosec here. Despite the disadvantages, they stay in business.

      Cons

      CEO listened to my concerns and did nothing about it. Kept her son employed at $50k-60k/year while he did nothing but surf the net (literally). They wouldn't remove him, nor could you reprimand him. No money to hire another engineer because of her son too. In 2001, they axed the entire software development team without any notice. One sales rep simply pulled all the high end (read easy money by renewing contracts) clients from other sales rep's folders when they left. That left nothing for new sales reps coming in. Not really concerned about their employees' welfare.
