There is no such thing as work/life balance. The company seems to think that "salary" means they own all hours of your life. Management piles projects onto you in laughably unrealistic timelines and then wonders why they don't get done. Senior management are extraordinarily arrogant, have no respect for education, and have very little ability to manage. Their solution to their lack of management ability is to "push harder".
