Workloads can depend on the unit and the managers/supervisors, but overall, there is good support throughout the agency and most of the executive staff does listen.
Cons
Depending on who your supervisor or manager is, it can be stressful, but there are ladders of resources available to direct your concerns to.
Staff overturn can be high due to politics, clashing personalities, management shifts, etc.
The worst leadership. The chief deputy Director is extremely ignorant, has no idea what she is doing and unqualified for her job. The turnover is insane and the stress is unbearable. Caseload demands are really unreasonable and you get threatened constantly by complainants. Look elsewhere.
