Pros
If you have a heart for public service, this can be very rewarding. This job as listed as a 9-5 M-F, and you get to meet many wonderful people in the community.
Cons
Long hours, it's definitely not just M-F 9-5; you work nights, weekends and even some holidays. It really depends on your Chief of Staff an Assemblymember. No incentive to be efficient; low pay for hard work. Stressful.
