Pros

Free lunches if you attend bible study

Cons

Two faced managers and supervisors promise something and don't deliver, bully tactics do not work.Practice what you preach, dont lie to people that work there. Was never given any clear expectations of my work performance. Direct manager wouldn't even know if you were there or not. People were treated like robots. If you are not a member of their church you will not receive as nice of raises & other perks

Based on your repeat use of the phrases "Two faced managers" and "bully tactics do not work" in both negative reviews, it seems you are the same reviewer as "Don't Believe Them" in 2015. That's a long time to be that unhappy at a company! You might consider finding a better company to work at, though we think that will be difficult. Here is a copy of the response to your previous review: We do hope you are able to enjoy a free lunch at one of our Bible studies. If not, all employees are treated to a catered lunch every quarter as we update the team on how the company and our customers are doing. It seems we can all agree that it would be rather foolish for us to get rid of people that excel. We love people that excel! As far as broken promises and bullying, if you are still an employee, please bring your concerns to our HR department. This is not consistent with the feedback we receive from our employee round table meetings or anonymous surveys and we would like to understand your unique perspective and try to address it in the right way.

Thank you for your kind review! We are glad you were able to spend quite a few years with us and it was a good experience. Over 100 of us have been in the Camcraft family for more than 10 years...and over 50 for more than 20 years! We try to provide 50 hours per week for everyone who wants OT, but that isn't always possible as we flex up and down with our global customers and the economy. We do have two plants (Hanover Park and Bartlett) and deep expertise in several markets, giving us flexibility to move people to busier parts of the company and train them on different technologies. Camcraft is a great place to learn new skills. The good news is we go through the ups and downs together. We keep everyone informed during our regular employee meetings on how Camcraft and the economy are doing.

Pros

work is challenging but in a good way. Benefits are good

Cons

Pay is sub par with the normal scale. Engineering management is not receptive to the engineers suggestions. They lose good people with knee-jerk reactions and fire without warnings.

Based on the false information in this review, we don't believe this review is actually for Camcraft, and/or it is not from a current employee. This has been reported to Glassdoor, and we hope it is removed. 1) None of our Manufacturing Engineers have been with us for 5-7 years as this reviewer claims. 2) Pay is competitive and profits are shared via our 401K match and bonuses. 3) Engineering management is extremely receptive to engineer's suggestions. Our engineers drive vital changes and improvements every day. 4) Camcraft is known for NOT operating by knee-jerk reactions. 5) We have been in a hiring mode for engineers for years, not firing. 6) We have not fired a Manufacturing Engineer in the last 8 years. If you are an engineer considering making a move, we invite you to visit Camcraft to hear directly from any of our engineers why they are in the Camcraft family and to see what they accomplish with the latest technology. https://camcraft.com/careers/
