The company has good products, great design teams and hard working production employees. There is a 401k with small employer match. PTO plan is basic.
Cons
The upper management in the Riverdale location is unprofessional. Most upper management has come from promoting from within and consists of mostly friends and relatives. They are not qualified for the management roles they are in and you face a glass ceiling if you are not closely related to someone in leadership. HR takes direction from upper management so don’t expect any impartiality from them as they will always cave into management. Dedication and loyalty are not rewarded and others who do not perform to expectations are not penalized. This is draining and removes any incentive to perform at a high level. Health insurance was sub par for a company of this size. Annual raises were typically below cost of living even if performance ratings exceeded expectations. Taking a sick day, although company provided, is extremely frowned upon. Mistakes made by employees are broadcast across departments and there is a fairly prominent negative vibe that runs throughout the company and they thrive on drama.
