      Pros

      This was a friendly work environment. The consistent hours are perfect for a summer job for a high school or college student.

      Cons

      Although it is very friendly, it can be too friendly. There is constant drama and sometimes it feels like its not about the kids and all about the counselors.

      Pros

      If you enjoy working with kids, this could be a great job for you! Additionally, the other camp counselors are all around the same age (between 16 and 25) so it is a nice way to make new friends in the area, and there is a pretty social environment both at work and outside of work.

      Cons

      The management team was not always supportive of me when I was having problems with my campers either not respecting my authority or being inappropriate with other campers. The management team also made some inappropriate jokes to me while I was at work, many of the jokes regarding certain races.
