Pros
Employees are individually effective, proactive and committed. The labor power they bring to Camso is huge and certainly higher that what happens in other companies. Moreover, since Camso became a global company in 2010, more and more people from different countries, continents and cultures are learning to work together and that is quite amazing. A new graduate has a real chance to fastly evoluate in terms of responsibility and career path.
Cons
The collective efficiency is not so good. The company became global and has grown rapidly in the last 5 years by external acquisitions but the SMEs mentality is still strong. The executive and intermediary management is working on new paths to help the company get global and become collectively efficient. However, most of them have no previous experience with bigger companies where they would have seen what is working and what is not working. Beside, many of them have just never known any other another company but Camso. And when some employees have that particular experience and would happily share it... no manager or executive is interested.
