Pros
interesting industry, if you like beer
Cons
I was part of this soul-destroying work environment for over a year before I decided it was best to get out. While the office looks shiny and the staff are friendly, the managers/ownership are a very abusive and manipulative disfunctional couple and daughter who frequently argue with each other which in itself is very unprofessional. In my time there I witnessed multiple staff members yelled at, intellectually belittled, reduced to tears, referred to using obscene language behind their back, a staff member walk off the job during the day, and a staff member leave after 3 weeks. I witnessed an argument with a contractor that led to their company contract being terminated because they apparently didn't know what they were talking about despite it being their profession. Also, the manager hasn't quite clicked that most of their personal emails end up on the database for all staff to see, and the way they spoke in several emails made you really embarrassed to work there. The manager also txts staff outside of work hours about all manners of random things - very unprofessional and unwanted. I often felt nausea just walking to work in the morning. The high staff turnover should be a huge red flag to anyone going for an interview (can't blame COVID-19 for this) and no clear sign that the managers will ever change.
