Pros

Line level employees and customers form a wonderfully supportive and patient community. Workers in warehouse and Mox will do whatever it takes to make the customer happy and customers regularly show their appreciation for this work. The Mox stores are the best game stores in the world.

Cons

Mediocre pay Horrendous office politics, including gaslighting High levels of nepotism, most of the upper management is friends, family, and former colleagues. These makes it difficult to advance in the company. Culture of fear/lack of trust - owners don't trust others to make decisions. This leaves little/no room for outside ideas and must jobs are cogs in a machine.

Pros

Loved the leadership I directly worked under, I'd take a bullet for em. But the actual higher ups, eeehhh...

Cons

Company has changed a lot since I first started and with those changes came a sh*****r work environment. Wish I still worked there though. Had to leave when they left for a new facility out of Seattle. Also their union sucked @ss.

Pros

Most of my coworkers were great Pretty good benefits

Cons

Upper management are habitual line pushers with the union, often a new rule would crop up if they found a loophole in the contract to punish employees Rules changed often and it was also common to hear contradictory info as management often pushed these rules last minute on supervisors to inform teams Constant overtime due to constant MTG set releases If you miss a day of work, you are not eligible for overtime pay that week, which leads the company to ask for overtime for holidays using the excuse of downtime in order to work the workers more without having to pay them fairly Lowest retention rate I've ever seen at a company, I worked there for 1 year and 11 months and my team fully rotated almost 4 times Upper management is blatantly anti-union to a frankly cartoonish degree
