Pros

There are many pros: you learn a lot of new things from your co-workers, the CEO is awesome and actually cares about his employees and is super nice and always willing for his employees to learn different aspects of digital marketing. The health benefits and 401 are great too.

Cons

The cons: the pay is under industry-standard in Atlanta. The Account Managers are very rude and have egos. A lot of people have quit in the past couple months. They've all told their supervisors and the CEO that they've quit because of new business ventures...that's a LIE! The real reasons was because of how they were treated by the Account Managers. Also, there is a group of girls- Account Managers that are known as being very mean and gossipy. Every time a person walks in for an interview, they get together and make fun of whomever walks into the door, and they talk crap about everyone at Cardinal. No one really wants to work with them, so they are avoided at all costs. It's difficult to let the CEO or even any of the upper management know the real issues going on because they are all so close with the Account Managers that it's pretty obvious that no issues will be resolved so the only issue is to quit! The CEO wonders why we're only number 2 behind NEBO!

Pros

Ever wanted to write 10 meta descriptions at 7pm? Dreams do come true! Clients are demanding and so is leadership team, they have a goal of big growth every year for us and they let us know every day we have to push for more. And if a client needs something last minute.... well we gotta do it. But we do learn more and grow faster than other agencies I've worked at. You’ll become very efficient. Like, Olympic-level fast at writing alt text, title tags, and explaining why Google hasn’t indexed a page yet.

Cons

Content production is a grind. You’ll be writing strategy decks one minute and fixing broken URLs the next. No clear division between strategic and executional SEO.

Pros

Extremely talented people who truly care about the work they put out. Competitive salary

Cons

Long hours and extremely heavy workloads with little to no support from management which leads to burnout across departments. Having too many accounts to be strategic on the CS team, yet the pressure of keeping and growing accounts persists. Roadmap docs hold greater importance than the actual work being done internally, but externally, clients don’t care about the roadmaps. Little room to grow into management after gaining senior positions in your role.
