Pros
Good pay. Great legacy employees that care about each other. Good-to-great products. Significant incentive plan for highly compensated employees. One was given a 15% bonus for hitting every goal for the year. He was laid off, but got the bonus anyways.
Cons
Management is expected to work very long hours. Individuals are incented to take as much team credit for their own as possible, to avoid being on the annual list of terminated employees. Managers are rewarded for being tough and punishing more than for mentoring. There is a general sense of fear of losing one's job if a mistake is made or perceived to have been made.
