Pros
It's a casual, fun atmosphere. The coffee is really good, something to be proud of. They are committed to quality both in product and service. Having a great manager for almost three years, I can say I was treated very fairly and loved my job. She hired people who were upbeat and fun, but also could hammer out the drinks during rushes.
Cons
Your mileage may vary. Some store managers are burned out because of the demands placed on them by corporate. I think corporate was out of touch with day-to-day ops and morale sometimes. Your DM and manager can make or break your experience at the Bou. My experience was great, but some were really given the runaround, promised managerial spots and strung along never to get them. It's a mixed bag.
