Pros

-The people. Corporate, Peers, associates and customers. -Flexible with schedules and requests off -Tools provided to advance training -Celebration of outstanding employees -Customer relationships!

Cons

-Lots of movement, training and marketing changes with minimal extra payroll if any given. -Visual hiccups in corporate -Marketing issues (cut back your expenses spent in that field)! -Freight overload. It feels like the distribution is off for three days then packs hundreds of boxes to flow it out to stores. Trickle it into store 5 days a week. -Opportunities diminish once you are at Store Manager Level. -Your district manager will make your career flourish with the right opportunities (it all comes down if your DM is a "people driven" boss) -Salary. At least 15-20% less than other competitors yearly. -Bonus Incentives are very hard to achieve. 30% comp in the month of January? Really? -Health insurance price is crazy high! At least $450 per month. -Yearly raises are not even 1% raise, even when EE.

Pros

love my coworkers discount is nice pretty easy to move up in positions

Cons

Ive worked here for 7 years and in the last year this company has gone downhill. DMs don't care about anyone but making their bonus at the end of the year. Threatening store closure if we don’t force people to buy more to make sales(read the room). DM disgustingly said he was happy our clothes are becoming more expensive so parents HAVE to finance it and open our card. No work/life balance because of extension of operating hours and only getting one weekend off a month. Missing out on family because they want to be open on almost every holiday(wasting money because no ones shopping) No hours for sales associates while also expecting them to do commission based customer service minus the commission for $12/hr. They essentially want you to get on your hands and knees to beg customers to open a credit card even though you don’t receive any bonuses on opening any except 2 months out the year they feel generous enough to give you a whopping $2 per credit card you open! The pay for store positions is terrible for the amount of work they want you to do. If you see a job opening for this company keep scrolling they couldn’t care less about the employees keeping their stores running.
