Pros

Catalent provides challenging work that will keep you engaged in your work while creating a overall atmosphere of hard working individuals all coming together to work

Cons

While staff are very pleasant the company does not seem to be very keen on investing in senior staff. This ultimately leads to any mentions of pay increases performance reviews and promotions being pushed off. Time does not seem to pass in terms of job performance, you are expected to come in and work and are told "good job" yet it does not mean much when the company refuses to invest in itself and it hurts the overall job experience. This leads to months passing by and nothing really happening, by taking on more responsibility you are hindering your day to day since you are now expected to take care of those responsibilities without any addition compensation. Another con is work life balance. While Catalent will pride itself on this most weeks consist of 50 - 60 hours regularly. It is very hard to leave the facility on time since there is so much to do and when you do leave "on time" questions start to arise such as "why was this not taken care of last night" and "we were able to get this done before, why is it taking longer now?" This job will refuse to respect the time of its employees and what their interests are in favor of increasing production to meet demand without addressing any issues about staffing.

Pros

Good people and good training Good stepping stone for a pharma manufacturing career clean environment

Cons

Insanely underappreciative and borderline abusive upper management 3+ months mandatory overtime might as well tell your kids they are orphans, you will never be home power hungry micromanagers (spies on people who takes breaks) different pay for everyone cannot stress enough how bad the upper management is, so many people are leaving (even people who have been working for there 5+ years!) because of the lack of appreciation, micromanagement, and clear lack of respect for their workers. very disorganized
