Stay away - Software Developer Catalina Software Employee Review

The company owner does not and will not ever value his staff, saying everyone is replaceable. While I was there, 9 of the 17 staff members left and since then 6 more have either left or been made redundant. Staff have been asked to take -25% from their already below average salary as the business isn’t bringing in the income. The removal of support staff now means the developers are picking up the phones and dealing with all lines of support on top of all development work. There are a few members of staff close to the owner who would push their mistakes on to anyone and get away with it. Staff are not treated fairly and never will be as the owner has discussed. While I was there it was made clear that this is a lifestyle business for the owner however currently it’s not even paying for that. All senior developers have now left including the development manager. Promises were made and written into my contract but never carried out.
