Pros
Solid teammates below the Senior Director levels, good PTO, good health coverage. 401k match is standard, not great. Remote work.
Cons
In many aspects they move slower than the government. Every decision has to go all the way to the top of the company and back down the ladder. It is a very 1970s-1980s style of management and very DOD centric. Very boomer heavy culture and mindset. Due to some of the recent decisions they have found themselves in the crosshairs of many politicians in Washington. They continue to waste money on programs that have zero to no chance at generating any revenue because of ideological beliefs. If you are working below the director level, you will most likely be fine. Above that, you will not be allowed to make any impactful decisions. Anything of significance will have to go to the CEO to be signed off on. Prepare to be gaslit continously if things go sideways. They've suffered massive cuts to their federal funding and were completelly caught offguard even though the writing was clearly on the wall. I would wait for the dust to settle before considering a job there, there's a very good chance they have suffered a mortal wound and won't be recovering any time soon if at all. Ignore the positive reviews on here, they have little to no substance. The other critical reviews are spot on.
