Pros
As many have previously mentioned, you are bombarded with food and a very generous lunch allowance. The founding partners and senior management are nice people. Having CB on your resume does bode well for future employment as the internal disarray is often hidden with your job held as ransom. Has the potential to be one of the best companies to work for if back office / middle management did not wield so much power and influence over senior management. If you like free food, doing the bare minimal and have no opinion you may enjoy working here more so than many others have over the years.
Cons
It is a shame that senior management have a great vision and every intention of making this a great place to work. They allow themselves to be highly influenced by back office management who tend to make un qualified decisions for self preservation. The turnover is unnecessarily high, keeping on staff who are incompetent but agreeable. Staff are not listened too and procedures are rolled out with lack of research and lack of knowledge, sometimes counterproductive. Asking a question will only reflect badly on you, if you have an opinion or an idea, be prepared to be put on the potential “go” list. This is echoed from admin staff (the worst run in London I have ever witnessed), up to director etc level. Decisions are made on little fact by people who lack knowledge of their own role.
