Pros
Joining CentralSquare has been one of the most exciting career moves I’ve made. Coming from a law enforcement background, I was drawn to the company’s mission of helping public safety agencies operate more efficiently through modern, connected software. It’s rewarding to know that the work I do now still supports first responders — just in a different way. The onboarding experience was smooth and welcoming. From day one, I felt part of a team that truly wants you to succeed. My manager and peers have been incredibly supportive, patient, and always willing to share knowledge. The training program was structured but flexible, which made learning the solutions easier to digest. I also love the collaborative culture — everyone, from Account Executives to Technical teams, seems genuinely focused on solving customer problems, not just closing deals. There’s a sense of pride in representing a company that’s committed to improving communities. The remote work flexibility has been another huge plus. CentralSquare trusts its employees to get the job done and gives you the tools and autonomy to do it well.
Cons
It’s early on, but if I had to mention anything, it’s simply that there’s a lot to learn — the product portfolio is wide and deep. It can feel like drinking from a firehose at first, but that’s also part of what makes it interesting. The team is great about helping you ramp up quickly, so it’s a manageable challenge.
