The leadership is phenomenal from the top-down; regardless of department or role, everyone is welcomed and encouraged to pursue their interests and autonomy in the framework of company goals. The non-rigid management style allows for a real strong internal identity, and a visibly unified community externally.
Cons
The stability of the company has some real benefits, but it also affects the trajectory of the institution. In some ways, the small turnover rate inhibits innovation in lieu of tradition. It tends to hire alumni, which has its benefits and drawbacks when considering the larger profile it wants to represent nationally and otherwise. Also, due to small size, it's a lot more difficult to advance one's career in title or salary.
