Pros

I can assure you that the only thing you'll find here is a team of colleagues who share the same frustrations

Cons

I strongly advise against joining Centurion Selection due to numerous issues I experienced during my employment: My time there was filled with so many problems that it’s hard to know where to start. The management is overly controlling and unsupportive, constantly micromanaging every little detail of your work. Instead of offering help, they rely on fear tactics and intimidation to push for unrealistic performance targets, and will through you under the bus when things go wrong, which just adds to the stress. The culture is toxic, there’s a serious lack of trust between management and employees, leading to high stress levels among most team members. Plus, there are virtually no opportunities for career development unless you dedicate your life to this company while being treated horribly. No HR to go to. When it comes to compensation and benefits, it’s pretty dismal. You get the bare minimum of 20 days holiday a year, but you’re practically forced to use some of them at the end of the year, leaving you with only 17 days off. There’s no health care coverage, and if you call in sick, they deduct that from your pay. It really discourages you from taking time off when you need it. The working conditions are far from ideal too. You’re stuck with outdated equipment and basic supplies that barely function. Expectations are high, with an unwritten rule that you must stay an extra 2-3 hours every day. If you don’t comply, you’re threatened with termination, that completely disregards work-life balance. On top of that, the company seems to be struggling financially. They’ve closed 2-3 offices in the past year, which adds to the overall sense of instability and affects job security. Save yourself the trouble and look for a better opportunity elsewhere even if you are desperate.

Pros

Nice offices and a good London brand.

Cons

Unfortunately, the biggest issue at this company was the CEO. In my experience, leadership was deeply toxic and unprofessional. The CEO regularly took full credit for team achievements while shifting blame downward whenever things went wrong. There was little accountability at the top and a culture of fear below it. On work trips, boundaries were frequently crossed and behavior was often inappropriate and embarrassing for a senior leader. This created discomfort among staff and undermined any sense of professionalism. Management through intimidation was common. Employees were openly threatened with termination, including comments that referenced staff having newborn children and “needing to think about their family” — which felt less like leadership and more like coercion. This created extreme anxiety and distrust across the team. The CEO was also highly self-interested, spent excessive time gossiping about employees, and actively fueled rumors rather than focusing on strategy or execution. Decisions often appeared reactive and ego-driven, with very limited evidence of sound business planning or long-term vision. Overall, morale suffered badly, turnover was high, and talented people left simply to protect their mental health.
