Pros

You get to work with the smartest and best people in industry, on the most cutting-edge technology, with the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build something revolutionary in our generation. The company is known in the industry as the “Lamborghini of antennas and communication systems” The startup culture is never going to fit just anyone and everyone. It is a company that grows over 100% yoy for many consecutive years, and of course the team is gonna feel the pain because that’s how fast things are growing in all directions. As a result, the teams are expected to figure out, run and deliver in the same fashion without all the luxury of time to build infrastructures around it. No startup survives in the competition and this market without churning through similar pains.

Cons

Growing pains are real but the changes are happening in the right directions - equity plan, bonus, pays, benefits are being adjusted as the company generates more revenue. People who stayed choose to solve these hard problems because they believe in the mission and the DNA of this place. The hours and workloads could be long, but it’s not terrible - I have worked at places with way worse work life balances.

Pros

Secure line of work with innovative technology and very brilliant minds. A time of growth where impacts can be made and substantial rewards can be obtained. Recent shifts in senior management structure have made a positive impact on culture.

Cons

It's still a start-up going through some growing pains. But they are the kind that lead to success unlike other startups making the wrong kind of decisions. Culture is still trickling down and those with minor toxicities remain, but are being coached and dealt with.
