Pros

If leadership are on your side, you will get favourable treatment. They have great AWs and the CEO has lots of cool cars!

Cons

After a couple of years since working here, I thought I'd share a sober retrospective account of my experience as a UX Lead. POs and managers get burnt out because of the consistently weak communication from management. The CEO cannot clearly share their vision which means a bunch of middlemen and other employees have different interpretations of whatever lecture or story leadership have conjured up. The team are young. They can be easily manipulated by the couple who run the company with a "if you're not with us, you're against us" maxim. Trinkets are dangled to encourage desired behaviour (see " we'll respect your boundaries if they match what we want to get away with") and if you are shunned from the herd, life can be very tough. There is very little intellectual empathy from the supposed geniuses who run the joint. The CTO is a bully who likes to justify his behaviour with his "good intentions" and loves a good soap-box session, and plenty of the in-crowd are just there to make the CEO and his partner feel good about themselves. It's a very standard small company.

Pros

Enthusiasm was abundant - even if frequently misplaced. some nice customers.

Cons

managers seemed redundant/incapable and disorganized There seemed to be a pattern of hiring out of sympathy rather than competence. judgemental vibes. The type of company who would urge employees to leave positive reviews here after reading this one; pointing to a disproportionate reaction to perception-management instead of actually fixing anything of substance.

Pros

There are numerous beverages and post-work gatherings that take place in the office.

Cons

There is a lack of a well-defined strategy for addressing the task at hand. The CEO frequently engages in video calls and repeats the same content, seemingly enjoying a regal demeanor. This behavior makes many individuals feel uneasy, and one particularly toxic aspect is the CEO's emotional involvement with a specific employee, which negatively impacts the reputation of other employees. Upon discovering that some employees intend to resign in order to safeguard their reputation, the company promptly dismisses them. Additionally, on multiple occasions, the company politely threatens employees, instructing them never to discuss office matters, which is a clear violation of legal guidelines.
