Pros

The people i have met and worked with ended up being friends for life. Company should feel proud to have such a good and dedicated team. Company is not strict with dress code and they make an effort to celebrate holidays and birthdays to bring employees together. It was fun to work there

Cons

Awful benefits. Had issues with my 401K plan when i left the company. Insurance cost is quite high but they do have different plans to choose from. Not much PTO offered and Salary is not on par with market value. Also, positions/roles are created and eliminated based on the discretion of the company. Not much structure.

Pros

Interning at Champion Controls was an amazing experience. The workload given to the interns was a perfect amount to really challenge us and have us learn everything about Control Systems as possible! The hours were perfect because they gave us a taste of how much time is put into a real engineering job. We were encouraged to help out in every aspect of the process of creating control systems as we attended meetings, joined field engineers at job sites, went to automation conferences, created control panels on the computer, as well as testing them out in the shop. My fellow coworkers were helpful with anything I needed and upper management always provided positive feedback for my good work or constructive feedback when something could be done better. Overall it was a perfect way to get introduced to engineering work!

Cons

The job description included being a part of the Business Development department, which I didn't get to take part of, but I had such a great time in engineering that I can't complain! It wasn't any issue with the company, the summer was just not long enough to do both. other than that, everything else left a positive impact on me!
