Pros

Could have been a great business. Had a great product and a brilliant team but that is all in the past now.

Cons

Could be here all day... Still not been paid thousands of pounds owed to me and waiting for a tribunal hearing (one of many people in the same situation) A toxic environment created by the CEO A non existent share agreement that would supposedly make you a millionaire. Lies lies lies - both to employees, customers and investors. AVOID THIS BUSINESS LIKE THE PLAGUE

Pros

- Some genuinely talented and supportive people across teams. - The product had potential, and the original vision was compelling. - At one point, the culture felt collaborative, though that eroded quickly.

Cons

- Serious financial issues - salary payments for several employees remain outstanding months later. Several employees, including myself, are pursuing legal action to recover these unpaid commitments. - No transparency - there was little to no communication about the missing pay or the company’s financial position. - Unpaid suppliers and contractors, adding to broader concerns about solvency and business integrity. - Leadership was chaotic and reactive, the CEO frequently changed direction without clarity or follow-through. - Many of the glowing reviews here appear suspiciously timed or insincere — take them with caution.

Pros

- An interesting product built by a highly talented team of great people, who are held back at every opportunity by the know it all CEO, who is incapable of leading a team unless it is into the ground. - Great office environment. (Until the bills haven't been paid)

Cons

- Every workday at Chatloop is truly different, because the CEO can't stick to one idea for longer than 24 hours. Constantly flip-flopping between ideas based on nothing more than how he is feeling or "This is what X is doing". - New ideas and creativity are stifled and your true potential will not be realised. - Months of unpaid wages for employees. Current and ex-employees lied to by the CEO about cash flow issues and when payroll will land. "It will be sorted tomorrow" being the moto. - Short tempered, insecure CEO who will flip at the smallest thing, with a history of threatening past and present employees, physically and legally.
