Pros
Mid and lower level employees are like family. They get along well and work together to get tasks completed even under heavy deadlines and constant criticism. Everyone is well versed in their roles and exhibit excellent teamwork skills, which speaks volumes about the individual employees and NOT the management or organization itself.
Cons
If you enjoy extreme nepotism, tantrums, gaslighting, lying, manipulation, sexism, racism and unnecessary stress and drama then this is the place for you. Upper management is atrocious. A class in business ethics would go a long way for how employees, vendors, competitors, and customers should be treated. If you choose to give yourself an ulcer and work here, be sure to get everything in writing, because selective amnesia is common at Chinook. At least one of the positive reviews on Glassdoor was written by senior management and they have actively solicited the current employees to write positive reviews in order to gain "favor" with management.
