Pros

- Frequent opportunities for travel, NYC 2-3x/year - possibly LA, Vegas and Hong Kong depending on your role within the company - Junior level employees are given opportunities to participate in face to face client meetings within first months of employment (looks good on a resume) - Children's toys are everywhere around the office to play with - A unique agency with unique, fun loving employees - Cupboards are always stocked with snacks, lots of breakfasts and lunches provided by company

Cons

- Unrealistic expectations of junior level employees with little to no feedback on performance - The size of the business has outgrown the office itself, therefore very crowded - The office is located in a suburban area of North York; challenging to get to if you're relying on public transit - CEO is erratic and can be extremely challenging to work with at times - A lot of talk and not a ton of action when it comes to campaign execution - Inflated titles given to very junior level & inexperienced employees - Expected to connect work e-mail to personal cellphone and be in constant contact (weekends and vacation included), but mobile data is not reimbursed - The overall high tension atmosphere took a toll on my mental health and I left the company with little confidence in my abilities as a result of the way I was treated

Pros

ChizComm is a dynamic place to work where you get to wear many hats. There is a team approach from the top down and the executives are just as involved as any other team member in helping to meet goals, providing clients with excellent service and creating an environment where everyone takes on challenges and wins together. There isn't a feeling of layers or levels, of course there are managers and executives but you always have a voice, have direct access to anyone and everyone in the company. Lots of visibility and opportunities to shine. No drama or petty politics.

Cons

Heavy workloads. Work/life balance can be tough.
