Pros

I’ve met some of the nicest and awesome people there. They can hire with no experience.

Cons

There is definitely a lot of micromanagement going on from employees that have been there a little longer than others. Since you didn’t have your own cases, anyone that found your mistakes would call you out with 5 other people cc’d in the email. Constructive criticism is okay but that’s not what they were doing. Please refrain from giving feedback or letting management know you’re overwhelmed because it’s useless. Basically do anything they tell you to do without saying anything otherwise you’re easily replaced.

Dear Former Employee: We wish you the best in your future endeavors and appreciate your feedback so we can always continue to improve our business. While we don't agree with your assessment that there is a lot of micromanaging happening or that we are in the business of publicly shaming our staff when they make a mistake, we do provide opportunities for professional growth and improvement, as well as problem-solving, on a weekly basis through our weekly departmental meetings. We understand not everyone will agree on decisions made in any organizational structure; however, we do value our employees past and present, and we are proud of the work we are doing for communities across the Commonwealth of Virginia. About The Pendleton Law Team: In 2021, our firm was one of two law firms named one of the Richmond area’s Top Workplaces. A title given to only 81 companies with over 900 submissions. Also this year, The Pendleton Law Team was a finalist in the Richmond Times Dispatch’s “The Best” in the law firm category and four of five attorneys listed as finalists were from our firm. We offer competitive salaries, benefits, and bonus incentives for sales positions. Our employees also benefit from flexible paid time off including bereavement leave, Paid Holidays Off including Juneteenth, ability to work remotely, and a 4-day work week for certain departments. We are a diverse, woman-owned, minority-owned firm. If this sounds like an environment you would thrive in, consider learning more about joining our team: https://www.virginiasinjurylawyers.com/contact/join-our-team/

Pros

Management/owners have high expectations but hold themselves to the same standards. Christina is the hardest working person in the firm. Clients are valued and there are no policies which prioritize profits over clients’ best interests. 100% paid health insurance, sick leave, accrued PTO.

Cons

No remote work options or flexible time.
