Pros

Decent benefits, Good life experiences Complimentary lunch Fun parties Direct access to CEO, who is someone I admire on a personal level

Cons

HR and payroll were incredibly unprofessional. Full of liars and backstabbers Salary wasn't great Success was not measured by an employee's work, it was measured by who they were friends with. Advancement was clearly tied to personal friendships with HR During layoffs, criteria for keeping your job was again clearly tied to personal friendships with HR

Cons

Substandard pay Cliques Glass ceilings at all levels Favoritism Company culture of "overworking in hopes of advancement or acknowledgement" Those that refuse to be run ragged are viewed as lacking drive, passion or dedication Expectation that you will continue to desire to give regardless of what's going on your life or how little you are receiving for your efforts

Thank you for your feedback. Management prides themselves on the flexibility afforded to team members in regards hours and use of vacation time. We have been researching ways to evaluate work-load within groups in order to promote a more balanced work-load. If you feel that you are unable to take time-off as needed or that you are marginalized or undervalued you should relay your concerns to your manager. If you have done that and have not received the desired outcome you seek, HR is always willing to work with you to come to a mutual understanding. We are here to help in any way we can.
