Pros

Very flexible scheduling, the people I worked with were friendly and laid back, you have the ability to make a child's day at Chuck E. Cheese

Cons

I worked as a cashier. Some days, I would be the only person working (besides the kitchen person, manager, and game room attendant), making me responsible for working my position as a cashier, the kid check position, and the merchandise person all at once. It's very stressful when you have people wanting to order, cash in tickets, and people wanting to come in and out, all while having to maintain the salad bar and drink station. And all for minimum wage. There is also a lot of closing work involved at Chuck E Cheese and getting out on time is not likely. Be prepared to be used and abused, especially as the new person closing Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Bottom line being, Chuck E. Cheese expects a lot for very little pay. I wouldn't recommend a job here to anyone.

Pros

-They give you free food up to $30 -The benefits are fairly decent -High mileage pay for traveling -Lots of diversity and inclusion

Cons

-The worst upper management you’ll ever work for. Constant micromanaging. Sets unrealistic expectations with zero support or assistance. All while they take long vacations. -Preach “company standard” but flip flop on every decision with no notice -Constant labor crunch. Expects miracles with ~3 people on shift. -Will have to work out of your area with no added pay -Training is hit or miss. If you don’t speak up immediately about something you weren’t taught, they will blame you. -If salaried, will probably have to work over 40hrs will no additional incentive -Customers above all else. They are rewarded for complaints and you will definitely be punished. -Heavy AI usage. Even in biased customer surveys that will count against you.
