Pros
Flexibility to work from home The perks, some of which are being eliminated...i.e. the fitness centers, the on-site cafes, home wireless service covered (no more), cell phone coverage (no more), etc.
Cons
The seems to be a culture where expediency and politics are valued over efficiency, effectiveness and empowerment. Furthemore, while the working remotely option is valuable, it is also abusive as it tends to also be an abuse of all-access to the employee and the expectation that they will work around the clock. Last but not least, I hear the rhetoric of work-life balance and diversity but it is not apparent when you do basic observation of the day-to-day business environment and work culture.
