Pros

Experience in the telecommunications/IT field.

Cons

-Low pay. They claim to not be able to afford yearly raises or competitive pay packages, yet they had enough money to provide a $1,000,000.00 sponsorship for the inside of a local sports complex named The Citynet Center. -Working overtime without pay. They are aware their employees have worked overtime without pay. They don't want to hear about it when it's brought to their attention. They need to be audited by the state labor board. -Lousy health insurance. A $65.00 per paycheck premium with a $3,000 deductible and a $6,000 in-network out-of-pocket maximum may sound good to some, but when you combine it with low pay, it's a recipe for bankruptcy. Don't even think about going out of network. You won't be able to afford it. -Old boys club. Favoritism wins the day when it comes to promotions and raises. Knowledge, skills and abilities don't matter. Degrees and certifications don't matter. If you constantly have a smile on your face and agree with everything you're told, you'll be fine. If you have the ability to think critically and ask questions, you're a problem. -Poor internal communication. -Low morale. -No feedback until or unless there's a problem. -A reputation for not being a desirable place to work. A question I'm constantly asked is "Why are you still there?"
