Pros
$14 an hour for BT/TSS all you need is an associate's degree
Cons
Even masters level bcba's have trouble finding full time work. You do not get paid during Christmas break or when your consumer is sick (Benefits may be different for masters level). I couldn't afford sick days because I had to use those for snow days, Christmas break or spring break days. Worst of all, my contract was dropped and I was supposed to be full time. Instead of them communicating this to me and moving me to another district when there was a need in a different district, they hired somebody new and terminated me a month later with no notice. They fired me in the matter of 2 minutes time. The school I worked in called my company a "hot mess".
