The counseling field is a very meaningful area of work. Developing relationships in the community and among co-workers is a plus.
Cons
Executive Leadership values money over clinical integrity. The push is to grow/sell with little emphasis on managing the clinical aspect of programs. Leadership often hires based on friendships. Inequality of pay among people in similar positions. It is difficult to maintain a positive work-life balance at this company. Very little is spent on developing staff through trainings or education.
