      Wonderful non-profit to work in Foster Care - Anonymous employee Clarvida Employee Review

      Pros

      This was a wonderful non-profit to start working in Foster Care! This company is really great for someone that is new to the field and wants to get some experience in Foster Care and Foster Families. They really cared about their values, worked with an amazing team, and worked with amazing foster families. The team I worked with was great and really helped each out.

      Cons

      1. They don't provide overtime 2. Do not pay enough for the amount of work they expect you to provide 3. Can easily get burnt out quickly if you don't have a set work/life balance 4. there is no opportunity for growth within the company 5. there are no incentives or rewards for employees when talking about more work or asking for more responsibilities. 6. Benefits suck

Maple Star continuously looks to improve its wage and benefits offerings in cooperation with our Pathways organization. At Maple Star we do pay Overtime for work past 40 hours weekly, however we do work diligently to reduce Overtime for both work/life balance and program costs for our clients.       Pros

      Pros-very relaxed with things like work hours. Remote employees can have your kids home with you as long as you get your work done.

      Cons

      Unrealistic productivity expectations, too many leadership changes, too many team meetings that are a waste of time.
