Pros
Great coworkers Flexible schedule for certain positions Willing to try to move people around in positions to find something that works for them PTO, fuel card and cell phone reimbursement for certain positions CEO makes an effort to know names of *most* of the employees and will be seen walking around the warehouse making conversation with workers Food trucks Pay can be good depending on who you have an “in” with
Cons
Your voice is often ignored when you share concerns or ideas You will not feel appreciated or valued most of the time and there is a constant “everyone is replaceable” atmosphere Getting paid adequately hardly happens unless you are friends with certain people You are often expected to take on multiple jobs that are not included in the vague job descriptions Tenure and loyalty to the company don’t mean much, you will be consistently wondering over the months or years as I have, when they will decide they are just going to “go in a new direction” and let you go Terrible insurance benefits (expensive and doesn’t cover much) Lack of manager accountability, it is never the managers faults for anything they will just pass the problem around until they find someone they can pin the blame on Subpar organization and communication between departments Willing to fire anyone for almost any little thing without first trying to coach or work through the problems with the employee at hand A ton of fake niceness from upper management and admin instead of genuine respect No one here takes pride in their work which leads to mediocre results from nearly every department Virtually no trainers or training program. You are essentially just thrown out to the wolves on most positions here and then they wonder why you can’t perform the job up to their nearly impossible standards Can feel a lot like high school when it comes to favoritism from the ceo/general manager Going above and beyond will hardly ever be acknowledged
