Pros

Benefits are amazing. Got lucky to have great co-workers.

Cons

Pushing people to be on-site and stop hybrid/remote work. Poor and inequitable pay (people in lower positions make more, co-workers who have been at the Clinic 10 years, make the same as I do now.) Have to pay $75 a month to park at main campus in a Cleveland Clinic parking garage. No bonus, no incentives. Favoritism for promotions by higher ups. Executives can't make up their mind on how to restructure so we are stuck in limbo for years waiting to see if we are being moved or laid off. No career growth as they are now laying off "middle managers."

Pros

They offer pretty good health insurance

Cons

Where do I even begin - this hospital is trash. I have never seen more of incompetent company in my life. On my floor, the managers here are completely unprofessional. They bully you, threaten you, and micromanage you. Oh don’t even get me started on the pay and benefits you barely get for the crazy amount of work you do as an admin. And when everyone else leaves because this place is a disaster, they place even MORE work on you. The environment is horrible, the older women will target and bully you as well. And on top of it, they take out of your hard earned PTO bank for Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and etc even though you don’t have the choice to work. All your PTO is clumped together for sick days, vacations, doctor appointments, and etc. you BARELY are able to accrue pto so if you need a vacation goodluck. Need to go to the ER and miss work? Well go ahead but they will give you an occurrence point which can lead to you being on probation. I can NOT stress this enough, do NOT work at the Cleveland Clinic as you essentially pay to work here. Oh also, they take $80 every month for the damn parking.
