Pros

Cleveland Clinic has great benefits in the community. They are involved in the community and have opportunities for community service. There are programs available for career growth, education, job training, employee assistance programs, etc. It is a solid company to work for.

Cons

The regional hospitals definitely do not receive the same resources and prestige as the main campus does. I have worked at South Pointe Hospital and Fairview Hospital, they are drastically different to each other and both are different than the main campus. South Pointe is in a more underserved area with a lower socioeconomic status and I genuinely think that they do not get the same respect or resources to quality care as "nicer" areas of town may receive. You do have to pay for parking at main campus and may have a decent walk which is not fun in the midwest winters. Surprisingly CC is not a trauma 1 medical center.

Pros

They offer pretty good health insurance

Cons

Where do I even begin - this hospital is trash. I have never seen more of incompetent company in my life. On my floor, the managers here are completely unprofessional. They bully you, threaten you, and micromanage you. Oh don’t even get me started on the pay and benefits you barely get for the crazy amount of work you do as an admin. And when everyone else leaves because this place is a disaster, they place even MORE work on you. The environment is horrible, the older women will target and bully you as well. And on top of it, they take out of your hard earned PTO bank for Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and etc even though you don’t have the choice to work. All your PTO is clumped together for sick days, vacations, doctor appointments, and etc. you BARELY are able to accrue pto so if you need a vacation goodluck. Need to go to the ER and miss work? Well go ahead but they will give you an occurrence point which can lead to you being on probation. I can NOT stress this enough, do NOT work at the Cleveland Clinic as you essentially pay to work here. Oh also, they take $80 every month for the damn parking.
