      Pros

      Strong engineering culture and a modern tech stack. Great opportunities for lateral growth and learning new frameworks. The peer-to-peer support is excellent; colleagues are always willing to jump on a debugging call. It is also a great place for events and sports activities, where great people cherish fun moments and help solve complex problems with their varied outlooks.

      Cons

      Documentation is sometimes lagging, leading to tribal knowledge bottlenecks. The learning graph is steep, as there are varied tools and stacks of DevOps that are used, so it is both a pro and a con. If you need to grow in terms of skills, it's a pro. But if you can't handle the pressure while doing so, it can be a stressful place to be, leading to burnout and decreased job satisfaction for some individuals.

      Pros

      There are meaningful opportunities to take ownership and drive work independently. The role can grow with you if you are proactive and curious. The exposure to cross-regional work and different teams is strong, and you get to build processes from the ground up. Leadership is generally approachable and open to ideas, and there is room to shape your function if you take initiative. The learning curve is steep in a good way.

      Cons

      Some processes are still evolving, so you need to be comfortable with ambiguity and figuring things out without a lot of structure. Workload can spike at times.
