- Most of the people are lovely. A west coast "chill vibe." - Some high calibre engineering talent with the ability and openness to bounce ideas around - End-to-end ownership of a user's experience in a particular product area - Free monthly Uber Eats vouchers (not sure if these have been discontinued) - $500 one-time WFH stipend
Cons
- Instability in product leadership (which led to a mass exodus of PMs and designers) - CEO might be a narcissist; CEO-driven "product strategy" - Leaders unwilling to listen or be open to new ideas; constant pressure to deliver on CEO's pet projects, despite unproven product-market fit (all in service of optics) - Lack of focus (when everything is priority, nothing's a priority) - Lack of diversity in C-suite - Lack of agile/ship-it mentality; things are very slow
