CEO's Press-Driven, Borderline lying, Approach: Cloud9 Insight's CEO appears to be more concerned with media attention and public perception than the actual well-being of the company and its employees. It is clear that their primary objective is to attract attention rather than deliver quality work or provide a supportive work environment. The CEO consistently exaggerates the company's efforts and accomplishments, misleading both clients and employees alike. 2. Lack of Support and Mentorship for Younger Employees: One of the most significant disappointments during my time at Cloud9 Insight was the company's false claim of caring for its young workers. Despite the CEO's vocal support for nurturing young talent, the reality was far from it. There was a severe lack of support and mentorship for new employees, especially those just starting their careers. 3. Deletion of Company Accounts to Suppress Negative Reviews: Cloud9 Insight resorts to a highly questionable tactic of deleting their company accounts on external platforms, such as Indeed, whenever negative reviews start piling up. This deliberate act of hiding critical feedback demonstrates a lack of accountability and a refusal to address legitimate concerns. By removing negative reviews instead of addressing them constructively, the company creates a distorted image and deceives potential job seekers who rely on platforms like Glassdoor for genuine insights. 4. Alarming Staff Turnover: The rate of staff turnover at Cloud9 Insight is alarmingly high, and this speaks volumes about the company's internal issues and management practices. During my time here, no one passed their 3 month probation. 5. Unprofessional Conduct and Disregard for Employee Well-being: It was shocking and disheartening to witness a CEO engaging in the harmful behaviour of actively talking about employees' mental health issues. This unethical conduct not only breaches the privacy and confidentiality of individuals struggling with mental health challenges but also creates a toxic work environment that fosters fear, mistrust, and stigma. This type of conduct from the CEO sets a damaging precedent within the company, perpetuating a culture of fear and secrecy rather than one that promotes open communication, support, and understanding. It erodes the trust that employees should have in their leaders and creates an environment where mental health issues are stigmatized, hindering employees from seeking help and support when needed. It is crucial for potential employees to take note of these concerns before considering a position at Cloud9 Insight. The company's habit of suppressing negative reviews, mental health stigma and the alarming staff turnover should raise red flags for anyone seeking job stability and a healthy work environment.
