Pros
1. Cloudkaptan is still not an IT giant, so the company need a collaborative system to get the boost, and we see that every now and then. 2. Company's one of the best feature is it's uniqueness in culture amongst majorities of IT companies all over India. Frequent gatherings, programmes, festivities are plus to employees' work mood. 3. Have not seen employees of any other company working so seriously on Fridays. This is so peaceful that deserved a mention. 4. Observed, if we approach team leads/reporting managers whether any work related or not, will definitely get a solution. 5. The compensation hike is half-yearly and with a lump sum in every interval. 6. Have seen promotions and seems regular if received a good feedback from reporting manager. 7. Job security is mandatory in India, and it's great we see here. Company doesn't throw away any employee unless involved in POSH. 8. Work satisfaction is purely on how the employees see the benefit out of it. Salesforce is #1 CRM platform and no doubt it will hold on to its place in next decade. Technically work satisfaction is going to be a joy ride if you like what is assigned to you. 9. CEO himself is available to listen what we care about, unlike many companies. 10. One of the best company as "Growth Champions" recognized by The Economic Times. Wishing more to come.
Cons
Overall no dislikes as of now. Wanted to mention why: 1. Work life balance could be better, but being a "boost up" company it is natural and completely okay. (would not say it a "startup" as the company have succeeded the phase and up for the next milestone). Not a con. 2. Skill development would have a question till now, but after the learning modules are implemented it will not be a con anymore. 3. Late night meetings are only for when the customers need to join for the updates or the scrum call. Based on the geographical postition there is a time gap of almost 11-12 hours from US. If we are to serve an US customer we may need to join in late night calls. But I feel it's okay as customers come first. Not a con. 4. Need of WFH is completely on individual and I know it can be sorted if its seriousness is discussed with the reporting manager. Not a con. 5. Working in the weekend is needed IF ONLY deliverables are not ready as promised to the customers. Not a con. 6. Freshers need to be trained. Experienced don't need that. Observed, freshers if brushed up and groomed well performs better than experienced. If you can train, well then it's not a con.
