Pros
- Hours were slightly flexible; you could choose to work 8-4 or 9-5. - Okay salary ($50,000). - The work itself is easy enough. - Flexible PTO
Cons
- They outright lied during the hiring process. I was explicitly informed that leads would be mostly warm, and that most reps were meeting their quotas. You WILL be cold calling, and unless you're the best salesman in the world, you will NOT be getting your commission. (And if you're the best salesman in the world, then I'm sure you've got better options). - Hard work is not rewarded. It doesn't matter if you make 200 calls every single day - if not a single person picks up the phone, then you're out of luck. - Minimum quota was aggressive; very few people actually made any commission at all. People would often take calls outside of business hours in hopes of hitting their targets. - From what I understand, my round of layoffs was the second one within a year. They fired both low performing AND high performing reps, so don't assume you're safe.
